Install the Knox Package on the Knox Server
To install the Knox RPM or package, run the following command as root:
RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux:
sudo yum install knox
For SLES:
zypper install knox
For Ubuntu:
apt-get install knox
The installation creates the following:
knox user in
/etc/passwdKnox installation directory:
/usr/hdp/current/knox-server, referred to as $gateway_homeKnox configuration directory:
/etc/knox/confKnox log directory:
/var/log/knox
